The introduction of our Advisory Board:

A strategic step towards continuous improvement

Foundation of the Advisory Board

At DEJ Technology, we are constantly striving to develop and optimize our processes. Over the past eight years, our company has developed a stable routine that has brought clarity and efficiency to our daily work. However, in the dynamic digital age, it is crucial that movement and innovation remain at the core of our strategy. To ensure this, our founders Degol, Erik and Jonas have decided to establish an Advisory Board that offers us new perspectives and challenges.

Inspiration and motivation for founding a company

The creation of our Advisory Board was primarily driven by the need to receive valuable feedback from experienced individuals who can point out potential weaknesses and challenge us. This critical perspective is invaluable to us in driving continuous improvement in our company.

A year earlier, Jonas had heard from another founder how valuable an advisory board can be and, of course, the desire to expand our network and position the company more strongly to the outside world also played a role. Inspired by the positive experiences of other founders and after careful consideration, we decided in January of this year to take this important step and set up our own advisory board.

Selection of advisory board members

When selecting the members of our advisory board, we placed particular emphasis on including personalities who not only have extensive experience in digital topics, but also in the healthcare industry and who can enrich us with their life experience. These experienced experts should challenge us and show us what we need to work on and what may not yet be on our radar.

First meeting and immediate effects

The first meeting of the Advisory Board was all about getting to know each other. The aim was to understand the individual goals and create a solid basis for fruitful collaboration. The resulting discussions and decisions had a direct influence on our strategic direction.

For example, Jonas decided to leave his position at NConf, a decision he made to focus on new challenges as the role was becoming increasingly time consuming and it was time to start something new. Similarly, Degol decided to spend more time in our Uganda branch to improve the organizational processes there. These decisions reflect the profound impact the Advisory Board has on the personal and professional development of our leaders and demonstrate how valuable external input is to the development of our business.

Ongoing meetings and continuous improvement

At the second meeting, we have already received in-depth analyses and feedback on our activities and their impact. These regular meetings, which take place once a quarter, allow us to implement feedback and evaluate the effects of these changes. Between meetings, we receive specific tasks and suggestions from the Advisory Board members to help us stay focused and achieve our goals.

Through this structured and committed collaboration with our Advisory Board, we can ensure that DEJ Technology not only reacts, but actively shapes and continuously develops. We are convinced that this step will make a decisive contribution to securing the future of our company and continuing to be innovative and successful.
